As I’ve been searching for answers on how to become a better writer, I’ve encountered a lot of things people compare writing to.
Some of them were interesting. Some were not as much.
But I’ve tested every one of them on myself.
Here’s what I found good writing is NOT:
Therapy.
Only about you.
What readers want. (More on this here.)
Objective.
Long.
Vague.
Practical.
Vulnerable.
Sporadic.
Unemotional.
An ad.
Always pleasurable.
You can read the longer (explained) version right here.
